The CDI College Open House Contest (the "Contest") begins on August 17, 2023, at 12:01 am and ends on August 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm (the "Contest Period"). The Contest is sponsored by CDI College (the "Contest Sponsor"). No purchase is necessary. By entering the Contest, the entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to the terms, conditions and provisions described below.

1. HOW TO ENTER

(a) Customers who enroll for a training program at any of CDI College’s campuses in the province of Quebec during the Contest Period will be given an entry form and automatically entered into the Contest.

(b) You may enter the Contest without purchasing by sending a handwritten 3" x 5" card with your first name, last name, home address, telephone number and valid e-mail address to 300 - 960 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, BC V3M 6G2 before the entry deadline. You will automatically be entered in the contest upon receipt of your entry. To be eligible, the Contest Sponsor must receive your entry before the entry deadline. No facsimiles, manual or mechanical reproductions of entries will be accepted. Only one entry per household will be accepted.

2. PRIZES

2.1 The prizes awarded consist of the following:

Two (2) 50% scholarships applied directly to tuition fees for a college training program.

Five (5) $5,000 scholarships applied directly to tuition fees for a college training program.

Ten (10) $2,000 scholarships applied directly to the tuition fees for a college training program.

2.2 Approximate odds of winning:

The odds of winning will depend on the number of products purchased and/or the number of entries received.

2.3 A random draw from all eligible entries received will take place on October 1, 2023, in New Westminster, BC. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The selected entrants will be contacted by e-mail and/or telephone, and only three (3) attempts will be made to contact him/her. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted as described above, or if a selected entrant is ineligible or does not comply with the contest rules, his/her entry will be rejected, and a new random draw will be held from the remaining entries to select another entrant.

2.4 To claim a prize, a selected entrant must:

(a) begin a training program at the college on or before September 30, 2023;

(b) meet the admission requirements and prerequisites of the selected training program;

(c) have successfully completed the program for which he/she has enrolled;

(d) correctly answer an arithmetic aptitude question within the prescribed time limit, without mechanical or other assistance;

(e) sign and return a liability release releasing the Contest Sponsor, its affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, any judge or judges appointed by the Contest Sponsor and, in each case, their respective directors, agents, owners, employees, servants, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability in connection with the Contest or acceptance, possession or use of the Prize;

2.5 The prize may be revoked if a selected entrant is ineligible or fails to comply with the above provisions within the specified time.

2.6 All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. No transfer, substitution or conversion is permitted except at Sponsor's sole discretion, as set forth below.

2.7 Except as expressly stated herein, all prizes are awarded "as is" to the winners without any representation or endorsement and without any warranty, express or implied.

2.8 No interest will be paid on cash prizes.

2.9 The scholarship applies to tuition fees only and cannot be applied to textbooks, registration fees or any other fees or amounts charged.

2.10 All commissions, taxes and additional fees associated with the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

2.11 The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any or all of the prizes with prizes of equivalent value should the intended prizes become unavailable for any reason beyond the Contest Sponsor's control.

3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1 The contest is open to citizens or legal residents of Quebec. This contest is void where prohibited.

3.2 Entrants under eighteen (18) must have reached the age of eighteen (18) at the time the prize is applied to their tuition fees.

3.3 Employees, agents, representatives of the Sponsor, their respective subsidiaries, branches, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families and those with whom they reside are not eligible.

4. GENERAL PROVISIONS

4.1 By submitting an entry or claiming a prize, the entrant agrees to be bound by all the terms, conditions and provisions described in these Contest Rules.

4.2 This Contest is subject to federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

4.3 All Sponsor’s decisions in connection with the Contest, or any judge or judges appointed by the Sponsor, are final and without appeal.

4.4 The Sponsor disclaims all liability for participation in the Contest and the awarding or use of the Prizes.

4.5 There is a limit of one prize per entry. There is a limit of one prize per individual.

4.6 The official list of contest winners may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope within one year beginning the month following the end of the contest period to Scholarship Contest A/S Campus Support, 300 - 960 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, B.C. V3M 6G2.

4.7 All entries and prize claim forms remain the sole property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants.

4.8 In its sole discretion, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, delay or terminate the Contest should events beyond its reasonable control corrupt the fairness or integrity of the Contest.

4.9 Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only to help the parties settle.

5. CONFIDENTIALITY

5.1 By entering this Contest, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information:

(a) between the Contest Sponsor and its agents and representatives for the sole purpose of administering the Contest;

(b) to initiate, maintain and develop a relationship with you to provide the goods and services offered by the Contest Sponsor;

(c) to periodically provide you with information, promotional materials or other materials that may be of interest to you;

5.2 By entering the Contest, you agree that your name and photograph may be disclosed by the Contest Sponsor, without compensation, in connection with the announcement of the winners and for general distribution, advertising or promotional purposes in connection with the Contest without compensation other than the prize awarded.

6. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

6.1 The Contest Sponsor, its affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, any judge or judges appointed by the Contest Sponsor and, in each case, their respective directors, agents, owners, employees, servants, representatives, successors and assigns shall not, under any circumstances whatsoever, be liable for:

(a) any costs, inconveniences, expenses, injuries, damages or claims of any kind arising in connection with the Contest or the acceptance, possession or use of any prize including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy;

(b) any secondary, subsequent, special or consequential damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6.2 The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, invalid, ineligible, incomplete, stolen, misdirected or postage-due entries or prize claims.

6.3 The Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network, lines, computer network, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software or failure of any entry or prize claim to be received by the Contest Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof.

7. CONSENT

7. 1 By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor, its affiliates and subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, any judge or judges appointed by the Contest Sponsor and, in each case, their respective directors, agents, owners, employees, servants, representatives, successors and assigns from and against all costs, claims, losses and expenses in connection with the contest or arising from acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
