Earn a Dental Assisting diploma in less than a year
Victoria, BC – May 2, 2013 – Students in Victoria now have a new training option available with the launch of the Dental Assisting program at CDI College.
The 45-week Dental Assisting program covers everything from preventative dentistry and nutrition to dental specialties and radiography. Students take part in both lectures and lab work, all of which prepares them to test their skills on the job during a practical placement in a dental office.
“Since the inception of the CDI College Dental Assisting program in 2007, 97-100% of our students have passed the mandatory National Dental Assisting Examination Board (NDAEB) exam,” said Larry Heinzlmeir, VP of Marketing for CDI College. “Thanks to our small classes, students receive more one on one time with their instructors, increasing their chance for success.”
Dental Assisting grads can find employment in a wide range of dental settings including dental offices, hospital dental departments, public health clinics, dental laboratories and more.
CDI College’s Dental Assisting program is also the only private dental assisting program in BC that is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC). Applications are now being accepted for the Dental Assisting program at CDI College in Victoria.
