Logistics & Supply Chain Management diploma program now at CDI College Alberta

In today’s economy, the entire process of unearthing raw materials to turn into a tangible object for sale takes many forms; however, every step along the way is part of the supply chain.

In keeping with our history of training people for careers in growing industries, CDI College is proud to announce the new Logistics & Supply Chain Management diploma program.

“We are very proud to start offering a Logistics & Supply Chain program in Alberta,” said Andre Souza, VP of Operations at CDI College. “The skills our students pick up in this program will be invaluable in starting a new career in several different industries.”

During the program, students will learn about the supply chain and how it touches dozens of different industries, occupations, and people. Everyone from warehouse managers to transport truck drivers, to supply and demand analysts play a major role in the supply chain.

Right now, nearly a million Canadians work in jobs directly related to the supply chain, and with our ever-sprawling urban centres and continuous population growth, tens of thousands of new careers in the supply chain are being launched every year.

Each course in the program touches on important parts of the supply chain, including logistics and transportation management, warehouse management, pricing coordination, dealing with customs, materials handling, and procurement of raw materials, just to name a few.

“With so much of the economy in Alberta depending on raw material, transportation, technology, and procurement, the Logistics & Supply Chain Management program makes an excellent fit for students looking to get into a new career sooner.”

Program courses are specifically designed to meet the requirements set by the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA), and upon graduation, you can apply for advanced standing toward an SCMA professional certification.

The Logistics & Supply Chain Management program is now accepting applications. Get the focused, relevant training you need to start a fulfilling new career. Fill in the Request Info form to your right to get started.
